More stuff going on in the wonderful world of Furry Nation:
November 2: the blue dragon Kothorix reviewed FN on his very popular YouTube page. (19,000+ furs have already viewed the page; if just 5% of them buy FN I’ll be a very happy Komodo dragon indeed!)
November 3: Chicago’s WGN-TV morning news show interviewed me on camera via Skype in a segment titled “Man explains life as a Furry.”
(Well, somebody had to.) Just like everything else that was put on the internet, the interview is still out there floating around, and probably will be until doomsday.)
November 7: Ahmar Wolf and I exchanged Emails which he compiled into an interview on his webpage.
November 14: Furry Nation finds itself listed on the Japanese bookseller website “Rakuten.”
They’re offering the English-language version; as far as I know it’s yet to be translated into a foreign tongue (or spoken by a foreign mouth).
November 18: Huck, a British print publication that (according to their website) “celebrates independence: people and movements that paddle against the flow. Inspired by radical youth culture, Huck roams the globe seeking out artists, activists and creative renegades who are breaking down the old world to build something new” interviewed me by phone for a future issue, followed closely by a freelance photographer who arrived to photograph me inside and out of my Komos fursuit.
Forward into the future: I’ll be attending Chicago’s Midwest FurFest from November 30 through December 3. Not hosting any panels or doing any sessions on behalf of the book, just enjoying myself like any of the other 7,000+ furs on hand. If you see me (or Komos!) there, please do say hello!
